A OPEN SESION SPECIAL MEETING WILL BE HELD ON APRIL 11, 2024. PLEASE SEE THE AGENDA FOR INFORMATION This notice is to inform you that on Tuesday March 26, 2024, the annual meeting that was scheduled did not achieve quorum. In this case, the current Board stays in place until next year’s election. A Board member has moved so the Board will appoint an owner in the coming weeks to the open Board position.
We would also like to extend our appreciation to all the residents who cast their votes in this election. Your participation is crucial for the community. The results are located in your owner portal. Thank you all for your participation and support. As we continue to strive for the betterment of our community, we are actively seeking volunteers to join various committees within our Homeowners' Association. Your involvement and contributions can help us enhance our neighborhood and make it an even better place to live.
Our HOA relies on the dedication and expertise of volunteers to manage various aspects of community life. Joining a committee is a great way to get involved, share your talents, and make a meaningful impact on our community. Plus, it's an excellent opportunity to meet and connect with your neighbors. Currently, we have the following committees: Architectural Committee: Ensure that our community maintains its aesthetic standards for property improvements. Landscape Committee: This group is responsible for ensuring our community's common areas are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. Christmas Committee: Help organize and plan Christmas decorating for the community. Road Committee: Assist in maintaining the roads in the community. Gate Community: Assist in maintaining the gates in the community. If you're interested in volunteering for any of these committees, please let us know by contacting the HOA office at traci@avalonweb.com. We also encourage all interested members to attend the upcoming HOA meetings where the Board can answer any questions you may have. Thank you and have a wonderful day! It is my pleasure to announce the results of the HOA Board election. After a thorough and fair voting process, the following candidates have been elected to serve on the Board: Darlene Kuhn, Ron Madison and James Tokunaga We congratulate the newly elected members and look forward to working with them to serve the best interests of the community. Your willingness to serve the community is greatly appreciated. We would also like to extend our appreciation to all the residents who cast their votes in this election. Your participation is crucial for the community. Thank you all for your participation and support.
Good Afternoon Rancho Serrano Owners, We wanted to let you know about the upcoming slurry project and some information about why the slurry is being done so soon after the road replacement. 1. The road project was quoted as a two step process from the beginning and it was part of the original bid. 2. The slurry acts as a binder over the new asphalt, protecting it from water and adding addition bonding strength. 3. The contractor proposed doing one side of the street at a time to accommodate parking. 4. We experienced some garbage truck paint leaking onto the street which will be eliminated. 5. The manhole covers will be sealed around the edges since leveling and adding concrete sleeves disrupted the asphalt. Some concrete sleeves were missing at the time of the initial installation. The road is being done correctly and should give us 20 to 25 years of service. Attached is the map schedule of work. If you have any questions please feel free to email your questions to traci@avalonweb.com.
The 2022 Annual meeting was held on March 22, 2022 and quorum was achieved. Thank you both for volunteering to serve your community.
